Here are a few guidelines to ensure everyone’s comfort
Punctuality and Courtesy - Arriving late may intefere with your treatment, all appointments will end at their scheduled time so that the next client will not be delayed, and a full charge will be applied. All times stated include preparation of room and client: i.e. 5 minutes at the beginning and end of treatment. Please arrive 10 minutes prior to treatment if it is your first appointment at the salon. We require this time for you to complete a personal consultation card, this document is 100% confidential and is used for treatment purposes only.
Deposits - A deposit may be required on large services, this deposit is non-refundable for no shows or cancellation with less than 48 hours notice.
Cancellations/No Shows - Please note 48 Hours notice is required for all cancellations, otherwise 50% of the total treatment price will be charged if we are unable to re-sell the reserved treatment time. Cancellations should be made by calling us on 0117 961 2519, as we cannot accept text messages. No shows will be charged at 100% of booked treatment value.
Prepaid Courses of Treatments - Have a validity of 12 months from date of purchase, unless otherwise stated.
Treat Points - Our Loyalty Treat Points System - Treat Points cannot be redeemed for cash, sold or transferred. Your Treat Points cannot be transferred to a third party. Treat Points can only be redeemed on certain treatments. Your Treat Points cannot be used in conjunction with any other offer or discount. All client Treat Points remain the property of 54a Hair & Beauty. 54a Hair & Beauty reserves the right to without notice: a. terminate the scheme b. decline to issue Loyalty Points c. withdraw or cancel the loyalty points collected d. alter or amend the terms & conditions of the 54a Hair & Beauty Treat Point System. Treat Points are reset to zero on the 30th November and restart on the 1st January.
Gift Vouchers - Gift Vouchers are non refundable and are valid for 6 months from the purchase date and will not be accepted after the expiry date. Vouchers may be used for services only Tuesday to Saturday. Vouchers cannot be redeemed for cash, sold or transferred. Your gift voucher number must be quoted at the time of booking and the voucher handed to the therapist at the start of your treatment. You are not under obligation to use the full value of your vouchers during one session. Late cancellation and "failure to show" terms as laid out above also apply to gift vouchers.
Price Alteration & Payment - Most credit and debit Cards are accepted, and cash. We reserve the right to alter prices without prior notice.
Mobile Phones - In the interest of comfort of all our clients, please refrain from using a mobile phone and ensure it is switched off, or on silent for the full duration of your time in the Salon to maintain a relaxing atmosphere for everyone.
Patch Testing - A patch test is required at least 48 hours prior to any colour appointments or tinting, this only takes a few minutes to do & is legally compulsory.
Personal Items - Please ensure you retrieve all your personal items before leaving the premises as we cannot be held responsible for lost items.
Refund Policy - 54a Hair & Beauty offers a no refund policy, for services provided. In the unlikely event you are not happy with your treatment, please contact us as soon as possible, within 2 days, so we can inspect our work. If the problem is due to a fault with our products or workmanship we will make every effort to rectify the problem, to your satisfaction, free of charge.
Children - Please be aware that a salon is a very unsuitable and potentially dangerous place for children and it is strongly advised that you attend your appointment without them. Children may only attend if under strict supervision of an adult, who is not receiving a treatment. 54a Hair & Beauty will not supervise or be responsible for any children in the salon.
